OK everybody, it is time to use this Rant like it was intended.
We all hung out at Bob's Big Boy and remembe all the good times we had there.  But where else did we hand out.  Tell us about your memories about Magnolia Park, Orange County Plaza, the Rendezvous and even the Retail Clerks Union Friday Night Dances.  Where did you hang out with your friends and what did you do during the best time of our lives?
You can add to this Rant or add your own.  Just sign in and go.   We all look forward to hearing from you.

OOPS!

Too bad I don't know how to spell.  I suppose I should have paid better attention in English Class than I did.

Pepa’s Pizza Parlor & dancing to Misirlou with a guy named “Whitey.” Didn’t really know him but had fun dancing. Huntington Beach and new bikini bathing suites, summer sandals. Strips - wish I had the recipe for the sauce. A surfer girl call “the Hunk” - I wonder if she ever lost the weight. School functions, drill team (it took me two times to be selected, (I was persistent), modern dance, the junior class play - “From a Far and Distant Shore.” I always thought that attending school functions were a natural part of high school. Our last Halloween, as a group as young teenagers - we hit Town & Country looking for the best treats, but no one was home - running miles and miles during that night. The Huntington Pier where Judy sang…. I still have a flyer. I tell my friends how my (our) childhood was - the freedom that we had and they wished they could have had the same experiences

Sure, remember Bob's... seniors at Bob's for breakfast instead of first period PE.   How did we get away with that?  How about the Fullerton College barn dances? And the Wolf brother's legendary keg parties.  Does anyone remember their house in the orange grove with the ambulance service on the same road?  The sirens would sound and all the kids jumped out the windows!

45th reunion was nice, maybe too formal and staged.  Too many people were missing!  We should all make an effort to get in touch with more folks for the 50th.

How about Friday nights at the Retail Clerks Credit Union Bldg. in Buena Park.  Great Surf Music and really rocked.  I remember seeing Dick Dale and the Deltones, Surfaris and especially the Rightous Brothers and many, many more.  That was great fun.

Hello all... the places you mention, Bob's, Retail Clerks, Huntington Beach, the keg parties with that older guy "Frank" who bought the kegs, the endless parties, I remember them fondly. I used to go to these places mostly with Mark and his crew; Ward and Randy. But it was always a fun time. I know I didn't grduate with your class, but I was friends with amny of you. I saw Stan Berger on the reunion pics, we used to be friends, and I wonder also what became of any or all of the Stone boys, Richard, Shot and Terry. I am very sad to see that Ward passed away this last year, it was also very sad for me, and my kids, when Mark passed away a few years back, even though he had long married and had children with someone else. I remained pretty close to him throughout the years and visited him a few days before he passed. Such losses to their families. Still... we all had some very good times in our youth and have hopefully found the way to joy in our adult lives as well, albeit very bumpy sometimes! Just wanted to weigh in on this comment board. I wish you all the best!!!!

Hey, what's up with the RANT.  Rancho Rant that is.

Looks like we need a new page for the fiftieth reunion.

Remember Harry Holmes and that crazy fast Oldsmobile he had?  Supossedly he ditched it off the Seal Beach pier when he couldn't make the payments.

Who was the guy with the Dodge Coronet with a Hemi?  There were some seriously wicked fast cars back then.  Who had the '64 Plymouth Fury, again with a Hemi?

Let's see about getting a more up to date page for rant/comments
