Gilda had such a wonderful love of life and such an incredible voice. We sang together at Rancho for 4 years. We also share the lead in the musical Annie Get Your Gun. Gilda got the pretty songs and the guy! We both went on to Cal State Long Beach and there she met a really fun drummer and married him. I was honored to sing at their wedding. I will always remember her and miss her.

Gilda and I went to grammer school together and were best friend all through school.  I was the maid of honor in her wedding.  Gilda died of Cancer in 1987 at the young age of 40.  She was survived by two sons and her husband Howard.  Last year her oldest son David also Died.  Gilda was a happy and beautiful person who always smiled and loved life.  I miss her everyday.
