Dear Friend Passed,,, Tom Newman March 3 1947 – Nov. 16 2010 Tom Newman was a long time friend of Myself and Joy/Chandler Crosby, We go back in school too kindergarten. Tom married Sue Riley right after HS and they lived in San Demas Ca. Tom and Sue had 2 wonderful children. Joy and I along with Dave Cox were fortunate too have gone up and saw Tom and Sue just 2 weeks ago. We had heard that he was not doing well, what a wonderful visit we had with them both. Joy and I along with Dave Cox and his wife went too his celebration of life last Sunday, We took 2 living plants as a gift in remembrance of all the 1965 classmates.. When we were at his house 2 weeks ago we noticed how much care Tom and Sue had taken in there yard so we could not resist.. He will be very much missed…Please hold Sue and Family up in Prayer…Gary and Joy Crosby.

Thank you Joy and Gary.
I miss him everyday. I just logged onto this site and saw this for the first time.
Tom was a "bigger than life" guy who did it all his way. The few friends he had, were his friends for life. He loved me, from the first time we met up at Bob's on Garden Grove Blvd, he loved his kids and his grandkids and his few lifelong friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. When he found out that he had Stage four cancer, he orchestrated his own end. That was the way he lived and the way he died.
