1947-05-04 2011-06-24

Born May 4, 1947, Greg Joyce of Hesperia left for his next adventure on the wings of a butterfly guided by his father, Carl, who predeceased Greg in 1998 and his mother, Doris in 2009. Greg passed on June 24, 2011. Surrounded by his loving wife, Jacqueline, his three sons, Rick, wife Michele, Randy, wife Tammy, David Bullard, Greg's other "mom", Hazel Joyce and his best dog buddies, Zach and Abby. Born in Manhattan Beach, Greg graduated from high school and quickly moved into the field of international transportation with Columbia Export Packers in Torrance, CA. In that position and a subsequent one with Dean Forwarding, Greg was able to travel to many countries of the world absorbing the culture and increasing his knowledge of international business. After building his own crating business with his wife, Greg relocated to the San Bernardino mountains and subsequently to Hesperia in 2000. He understood the best aspects of customer service in his position at the Pro Desk at Home Depot. He was given several awards over the years recognizing his efforts in providing high quality service to professional contractors. Also surviving Greg are his sister Sharon Hunter-Moore, husband Bill, his nephews David, wife Kirsten, Michael, great nephews, Nathan and Ryan and his five grandchildren, CJ, Wynter, Clare, Maxx and Zoe all of whom loved and learned from their "Opa". He thrilled them every year with his magical Christmas scenes both inside and outside each home he had. At his request, there will be no services. At a later date, his family and friends will celebrate his life. Greg will be sorely missed not only by his family but by so many who knew him as a "great guy who knew how to do everything". I miss and love you "Honey Bunny".
